[και μετά από κάθε αίτηση] Υπέρ της άνωθεν ειρήνης, και της σωτηρίας των ψυχών ημών, του Κυρίου δεηθώμεν. Υπέρ της ειρήνης του σύμπαντος κόσμου, ευσταθείας των αγίων του Θεού Εκκλησιών, και της των πάντων ενώσεως, του Κυρίου δεηθώμεν. Υπέρ του αγίου οίκου τούτου, και των μετά πίστεως, ευλαβείας, και φόβου Θεού εισιόντων εν αυτώ, του Κυρίου δεηθώμεν. Υπέρ του Πατρός και Αρχιεπισκόπου ημών [δεινός], του τιμίου πρεσβυτερίου, της εν Χριστώ διακονίας, παντός του Κλήρου και του Λαού, του Κυρίου δεηθώμεν. Υπέρ της κώμης ταύτης, της νήσου ταύτης πάσης πόλεως και χώρας και των πίστει οικούντων εν αυταίς, του Κυρίου δεηθώμεν. Υπέρ ευκρασίας αέρων, ευφορίας των καρπών της γης και καιρών ειρηνικών, του. Κυρίου δεηθώμεν Υπέρ πλεόντων, οδοιπορούντων, αεροπορούντων, νοσούντων, καμνόντων, αιχμαλώτων και της σωτηρίας αυτών, του Κυρίου δεηθώμεν. Υπέρ του ρυσθήναι ημάς από πάσης θλίψεως, οργής, κινδύνου και ανάγκης, του Κυρίου δεηθώμεν. Αντιλαβού, σώσον, ελέησον και διαφύλαξον ημάς, ο Θεός, τη ση χάριτι. Της Παναγίας, αχράντου, υπερευλογημένης, ενδόξου, Δεσποίνης ημών Θεοτόκου και αειπαρθένου Μαρίας, μετά πάντων των Αγίων μνημονεύσαντες, εαυτούς και αλλήλους και πάσαν την ζωήν ημών, Χριστώ τω Θεώ παραθώμεθα.

ΙΕΡΕΥΣ [Μυστικός] ΕΥΧΗ ΤΟΥ Α΄ ΑΝΤΙΦΩΝΟΥ Κύριε ο Θεός ημών, Ου το κράτος ανείκαστον και η δόξα ακατάληπτος, Ου το έλεος αμέτρητον και η φιλανθρωπία άφατος, Αυτός Δέσποτα, κατά την ευσπλαγχνίαν σου, επίβλεψον εφ' ημάς και επί τον άγιον οίκον τούτον και ποίησον μεθ' ημών, και των συνευχομένων ημίν, πλούσια τα ελέη σου και τους οικτιρμούς σου. Ότι πρέπει σοι, πάσα δόξα, τιμή και προσκύνησις, τω Πατρί και τω Υιώ και τω Αγίω Πνεύματι, νυν και αεί και εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων.
ΧΟΡΟΣ: Αμήν. ΤΟ ΠΡΩΤΟΝ ΑΝΤΙΦΩΝΟΝ Ευλόγει η ψυχή μου, τον Κύριον, και πάντα τα εντός μου το όνομα το άγιον αυτού. Ταίς πρεσβείαις τής Θεοτόκου, Σώτερ σώσον ημάς. Ευλόγει, η ψυχή μου, τον Κύριον, και μη επιλανθάνου πάσας τας ανταποδόσεις αυτού. Ταίς πρεσβείαις τής Θεοτόκου... Κύριος εν τω ουρανώ ητοίμασε τον θρόνον αυτού, και η Βασιλεία αυτού πάντων δεσπόζει. ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Έτι και έτι εν ειρήνη του Κυρίου δεηθώμεν. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Κύριε ελέησον. [και μετά από κάθε αίτηση] Αντιλαβού, σώσον, ελέησον και διαφύλαξον ημάς, ο Θεός, τη ση χάριτι. Της Παναγίας, αχράντου, υπερευλογημένης, ενδόξου, Δεσποίνης ημών Θεοτόκου και αειπαρθένου Μαρίας, μετά πάντων των Αγίων μνημονεύσαντες, εαυτούς και αλλήλους και πάσαν την ζωήν ημών, Χριστώ τω Θεώ παραθώμεθα.
ΧΟΡΟΣ: Σοι Κύριε.
ΙΕΡΕΥΣ [Μυστικός] ΕΥΧΗ ΤΟΥ Β΄ ΑΝΤΙΦΩΝΟΥ Κύριε, ο Θεός ημών, σώσον τον λαόν σου και ευλόγησον την κληρονομίαν σου, το πλήρωμα της εκκλησίας σου φύλαξον, αγίασον τους αγαπώντας την ευπρέπειαν του οίκου σου. Συ αυτούς αντιδόξασον τη θεϊκή σου δυνάμει και μη εγκατηλίπης ημάς τους ελπίζοντας επί σε. Ότι σον το κράτος και σου εστίν η βασιλεία και η δύναμις και η δόξα, του Πατρός και του Υιού και του Αγίου Πνεύματος, νυν και αεί και εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Αμήν. ΙΕΡΕΥΣ [Μυστικός] ΕΥΧΗ ΤΟΥ Γ΄ ΑΝΤΙΦΩΝΟΥ Ο τάς κοινάς ταύτας και συμφώνους ημίν χαρισάμενος προσευχάς, ο και δυσί και τρισί συμφωνούσιν επί τω ονόματί σου τας αιτήσεις παρέχειν επαγγειλάμενος. Αυτός και νυν των δούλων σου τα αιτήματα προς το συμφέρον πλήρωσον, χορηγών ημίν εν τω παρόντι αιώνι την επίγνωσιν της σης αληθείας και εν τω μέλλοντι ζωήν αιώνιον χαριζόμενος. Ότι αγαθός και φιλάνθρωπος Θεός υπάρχεις και σοι την δόξαν αναπέμπομεν, τω Πατρί και τω Υιώ και τω Αγίω Πνεύματι, νυν και αεί και εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Αμήν. Ο Χορός ψάλλει το τροπάριο της ημέρας ή τους Μακαρισμούς και ο Ιερεύς εξέλθετε από το Ιερό για να ποιήσει την μικράν είσοδον. Εν τη βασιλεία σου μνήσθητι ημών Κύριε, όταν έλθης εν τη βασιλεία σου. Μακάριοι οι πτωχοί τω πνεύματι, ότι αυτών εστιν η βασιλεία των ουρανών. Μακάριοι οι πενθούντες, ότι αυτοί παρακληθήσονται. Μακάριοι οι πραείς, ότι αυτοί κληρονομήσουσι την γην. Μακάριοι οι πεινώντες και διψώντες την δικαιοσύνην, ότι αυτοί χορτασθήσονται. Μακάριοι οι ελεήμονες, ότι αυτοί ελεηθήσονται. Μακάριοι οι καθαροί τη καρδία, ότι αυτοί τον Θεόν όψονται. Μακάριοι οι ειρηνοποιοί, ότι αυτοί υιοί Θεού κληθήσονται. Μακάριοι οι δεδιωγμένοι ένεκεν δικαιοσύνης, ότι αυτών εστιν η βασιλεία των ουρανών. Μακάριοί εστε, όταν ονειδίσωσιν υμάς, και διώξωσι, και είπωσι παν πονηρόν ρήμα καθ’ υμών, ψευδόμενοι ένεκεν εμού. Χαίρετε και αγαλλιάσθε, ότι ο μισθός υμών, πολύς εν τοις ουρανοίς. ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Του Κυρίου δεηθώμεν. Δέσποτα Κύριε, ο Θεός ημών, ο καταστήσας εν ουρανοίς τάγματα και στρατιάς Αγγέλων και Αρχαγγέλων, εις λειτουργίαν της σης δόξης, ποίησον συν τη εισόδω ημών είσοδον αγίων Αγγέλων γενέσθαι, συλλειτουργούντων ημίν, και συνδοξολογούντων την σην αγαθότητα. Ότι πρέπει σοι πάσα δόξα, τιμή και προσκύνησις, τω Πατρί και τω Υιώ και τω Αγίω Πνεύματι, νυν και αεί και εις τούς αιώνας των αιώνων. Αμήν. Ο δε Ιερεύς ευλογών λέγει: Ευλογημένη η είσοδος των Αγίων σου, πάντοτε, νυν και αεί και εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων. Αμήν. Και υψών το Ευαγγέλιον εκφωνεί:
Σοφία. Ορθοί.
Και ο Χορός ψάλλει το Εισοδικόν ΕΝ ΚΥΡΙΑΚΗ Δεύτε προσκυνήσωμεν και προσπέσωμεν Χριστώ. Σώσον ημάς, Υιέ Θεού, ο αναστάς εκ νεκρών, ψάλλοντάς σοι Αλληλούϊα. ΕΝ ΚΑΘΗΜΕΡΙΝΗ Δεύτε προσκυνήσωμεν και προσπέσωμεν Χριστώ. Σώσον ημάς, Υιέ Θεού, ο εν αγίοις θαυμαστός, ψάλλοντάς σοι Αλληλούϊα. Ο Χορός ψάλλει το τροπάριο της ημέρας, του Αγ. Γεωργίου, του Απ. Βαρνάβα και το κοντάκιον της ημέρας ή της εορτής.
Ως των αιχμαλώτων ελευθερωτής, και των πτωχών υπερασπιστής, ασθενούντων Ιατρός, βασιλέων υπέρμαχος, τροπαιοφόρε μεγαλομάρτυς Γεώργιε, πρέσβευε Χριστώ τω θεώ, σωθήναι τάς ψυχάς ημών. Το μέγα κλέος της Κύπρου, της Οικουμένης τον κήρυκα, των Αντιοχέων τον πρώτον, της χριστωνύμου κλήσεως αρχιτέκτονα, της Ρώμης τον κλεινόν εισηγητήν, και θείον των εθνών σαγηνευτήν, το της χάριτος δοχείον, του Παρακλήτου Πνεύματος τον επώνυμον, απόστολον τον μέγαν, και του θείου Παύλου συνέκδημον, των εβδομήκοντα πρώτον, των δώδεκα ισοστάσιον, πάντες συνελθόντες σεπτώς οι πιστοί, τον Βαρνάβαν άσμασι στέψωμεν, πρεσβεύει γαρ Κυρίω, ελεηθήναι τας ψυχάς ημών. ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Ότι άγιος ει ο Θεός ημών και σοι την δόξαν αναπέμπομεν, τω Πατρί και τω Υιώ και τω Αγίω Πνεύματι, νυν και αεί, και εις τούς αιώνας των αιώνων.
ΧΟΡΟΣ: Αμήν. Άγιος ο Θεός, άγιος ισχυρός, άγιος αθάνατος, ελέησον ημάς. [3] Δόξα Πατρί και Υιώ και Αγίω Πνεύματι, Και νυν και αεί και εις τούς αιώνας των αιώνων. Αμήν Άγιος αθάνατος, ελέησον ημάς. ΙΕΡΕΥΣ: Δύναμις ΧΟΡΟΣ Άγιος ο Θεός, άγιος ισχυρός, άγιος αθάνατος, ελέησον ημάς. Ψαλλομένου του Τρισαγίου παρά των ψάλτων, ο Ιερεύς λέγει ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Ευλογημένος ο ερχόμενος εν ονόματι Κυρίου. Ευλογημένος ει, ο επί θρόνου δόξης της βασιλείας σου, ο καθήμενος επί των Χερουβίμ, πάντοτε, νυν και αεί και εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων. Αμήν. Έλλαμψον εν ταις καρδίαις ημών, φιλάνθρωπε Δέσποτα, το της σης θεογνωσίας ακήρατον φως, και τους της διανοίας ημών οφθαλμούς διάνοιξον εις την των ευαγγελικών σου κηρυγμάτων κατανόησιν. Ένθες ημίν και τον των μακαρίων σου εντολών φόβον, ίνα τας σαρκικάς επιθυμίας πάσας καταπατήσαντες, πνευματικήν πολιτείαν μετέλθωμεν, πάντα τα προς ευαρέστησιν την σην και φρονούντες και πράττοντες. Συ γαρ ει ο φωτισμός των ψυχών και των σωμάτων ημών, Χριστέ ο Θεός, και σοι την δόξαν αναπέμπομεν, συν τω ανάρχω σου Πατρί και τω παναγίω και αγαθώ και ζωοποιώ σου Πνεύματι, νυν και αεί και εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων. Ειρήνη σοι. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Και το πνευματί σου Αλληλούϊα. Αλληλούϊα. Αλληλούϊα. Μετά των Στίχων. Καθ’ όσον οι ψάλτες ψάλλουν τα αλληλουάρια, ο Ιερεύς θυμιά το Ιερό και όλον τον ναόν.
ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Σοφία. Ορθοί. Ακούσωμεν του αγίου Ευαγγελίου. Ειρήνη πάσι. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Και τω πνεύματι σου.
ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Εκ του κατά [του διένος] αγίου Ευαγγελίου το ανάγνωσμα. Πρόσχωμεν.
ΧΟΡΟΣ Δόξα σοι, Κύριε, δόξα σοι. ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Το Ευαγγέλιον. ΧΟΡΟΣ Δόξα σοι, Κύριε, δόξα σοι. ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Είπωμεν πάντες εξ όλης της ψυχής και εξ όλης της διανοίας ημών είπωμεν. ΧΟΡΟΣ Κύριε ελέησον[3].[και μετά από κάθε αίτηση] Κύριε παντοκράτορ ο Θεός των Πατέρων ημών, δεόμεθά σου, επάκουσον και ελέησον. Ελέησον ημάς ο Θεός κατά το μέγα έλεος σου, δεόμεθά σου, επάκουσον και ελέησον. Έτι δεόμεθα υπέρ του Πατρός και Αρχιεπισκόπου ημών [του διένος], και πάσης της εν Χριστώ ημών αδελφότητος. Έτι δεόμεθα υπέρ ελέους, ζωής, ειρήνης, υγείας, σωτηρίας, επισκέψεως, συγχωρήσεως και αφέσεως των αμαρτιών των δούλων του Θεού, πάντων των ευσεβών και ορθοδόξων χριστιανών, των κατοικούντων και παρεπιδημούντων εν τη κώμη ταύτη, των ενοριτών, επιτρόπων, συνδρομητών και αφιερωτών του αγίου ναού τούτου. Έτι δεόμεθα υπέρ των μακαρίων και αοιδίμων κτιτόρων της αγίας Εκκλησίας ταύτης, και υπέρ πάντων των προαναπαυσαμένων πατέρων και αδελφών ημών, των ενθάδε ευσεβώς, κειμένων, και απανταχού ορθοδόξων. Και όταν έχει μνημόσυνον Έτι δεόμεθα υπέρ αναπαύσεως της ψυχής του κεκοιμημένου δούλου του Θεού [δεινός], και υπέρ του συγχωρηθήναι αυτώ παν πλημμέλημα εκούσιον τε και ακούσιον. Έτι δεόμεθα υπέρ των καρποφορούντων και καλλιεργούντων εν τω αγίω και πανσέπτω ναώ τούτω, κοπιώντων, ψαλλόντων και υπέρ του περιεστώτος λαού, του απεκδεχομένου το παρά σου μέγα και πλούσιον έλεος. Ότι ελεήμων και φιλάνθρωπος Θεός υπάρχεις, και σοι την δόξαν αναπέμπομεν, τω Πατρί και τω Υιώ και τω Αγίω Πνεύματι, νυν και αεί και εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Αμήν.
ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Όσοι πιστοί Έτι και έτι εν ειρήνη, του Κυρίου δεηθώμεν. Αντιλαβού, σώσον, ελέησον και διαφύλαξον ημάς, ο Θεός, τη ση χάριτι. Σοφία. ΠΡΩΤΗ ΕΥΧΗ ΤΩΝ ΠΙΣΤΩΝ Ευχαριστούμέν σοι, Κύριε, ο Θεός των δυνάμεων, τω καταξιώσαντι ημάς παραστήναι και νυν τω αγίω σου θυσιαστηρίω και προσπεσείν τοις οικτιρμοίς σου υπέρ των ημετέρων αμαρτημάτων και των του λαού αγνοημάτων. Πρόσδεξαι, ο Θεός, την δέησιν ημών, ποίησον ημάς αξίους γενέσθαι του προσφέρειν σοι δεήσεις και ικεσίας και θυσίας αναιμάκτους υπέρ παντός του λαού σου, και ικάνωσον ημάς, ους έθου εις την διακονίαν σου ταύτην, εν τη δυνάμει του Πνεύματος σου του Αγίου, ακαταγνώστως και απροσκόπτως, εν καθαρώ τω μαρτυρίω της συνειδήσεως ημών, επικαλείσθαί σε εν παντί καιρώ και τόπω, ίνα εισακούων ημών, ίλεως ημίν είης, εν τω πλήθει της σης αγαθότητος. Ότι πρέπει σοι, πάσα δόξα, τιμή και προσκύνησις, τω Πατρί και τω Υιώ και τω Αγίω Πνεύματι, νυν και αεί και εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Αμήν.
ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Έτι και έτι εν ειρήνη, του Κυρίου δεηθώμεν. Αντιλαβού, σώσον, ελέησον και διαφύλαξον ημάς, ο Θεός, τη ση χάριτι. Σοφία. ΔΕΥΤΕΡΗ ΕΥΧΗ ΤΩΝ ΠΙΣΤΩΝ Όπως υπό του κράτους σου πάντοτε φυλαττόμενοι, σοι δόξαν αναπέμπωμεν, τω Πατρί και τω Υιώ και τω Αγίω Πνεύματι, νυν και αεί και εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Αμήν. Ο Χορός ψάλλει το Χερουβικόν Ύμνον. Οι τα Χερουβείμ μυστικώς εικονίζοντες, και τη ζωοποιώ Τριάδι τον τρισάγιον ύμνον προσάδοντες, πάσαν νυν βιοτικήν αποθώμεθα μέριμναν. Ως τον βασιλεία των όλων υποδεξόμενοι. Σ’ αυτό το σημείο ο Χορός κάνει μια παύσει για να ποιήσει ο Ιερεύς την Μεγάλην Είσοδον με τα Άγια Δώρα. Και όταν εισέλθει ο Ιερεύς εις το Ιερό, ο Χορός συνεχίζει Ταις αγγελικαίς αοράτως δορυφορούμενον τάξεσιν. Αλληλούϊα. Αλληλούϊα. Αλληλούϊα. ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Ουδείς άξιος των συνδεδεμένων ταις σαρκικαίς επιθυμίας και ηδοναίς προσέρχεσθαι ή προσεγγίζειν, ή λειτουργείν σοι, Βασιλεύ της δόξης, το γαρ διακονείν σοι μέγα και φοβερόν, και αυταίς ταις επουρανίαις δυνάμεσιν. Αλλ' όμως, δια την άφατον και αμέτρητόν σου φιλανθρωπίαν, ατρέπτως και αναλλοιώτως γέγονας άνθρωπος και αρχιερεύς ημών εχρημάτισας, και της λειτουργικής ταύτης και αναιμάκτου θυσίας την ιερουργίαν παρέδωκας ημίν, ως Δεσπότης των απάντων. Συ γαρ μόνος, Κύριε ο Θεός ημών, δεσπόζεις των επουρανίων και των επιγείων, ο επί θρόνου Χερουβικού εποχούμενος, ο των Σεραφείμ Κύριος, και βασιλεύς του Ισραήλ, ο Μόνος Άγιος και εν αγίοις αναπαυόμενος, σε τοίνυν δυσωπώ τον μόνον αγαθόν και ευήκοον, επίβλεψον επ' εμέ τον αμαρτωλόν και αχρείον δούλόν σου, και καθάρισόν μου την ψυχήν και την καρδίαν από συνειδήσεως πονηράς, και ικάνωσόν με τη δυνάμει του Αγίου σου Πνεύματος, ενδεδυμένον την της ιερατείας χάριν, παραστήναι τη αγία σου ταύτη τραπέζη και ιερουργήσαι το άγιον και άχραντόν σου Σώμα και το τίμιον Αίμα. Σοι γαρ προσέρχομαι, κλίνας τον εμαυτού αυχένα και δέομαί σου, μη αποστρέψης το πρόσωπόν σου απ' εμού, μηδέ αποδοκιμάσης με εκ παίδων σου, αλλ’ αξίωσον προσενεχθήναι σοι υπ’ εμού του αμαρτωλού και αναξίου δούλου σου τα δώρα ταύτα. Συ γαρ ει ο προσφέρων και προσφερόμενος και προσδεχόμενος και διαδιδόμενος, Χριστέ ο Θεός ημών, και σοι την δόξαν αναπέμπομεν, συν τω ανάρχω σου Πατρί και τω Παναγίω και αγαθώ και ζωοποιώ σου Πνεύματι, νυν και αεί και εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων. Αμήν. Και μετά την ευχή, ο Ιερεύς λέγει το Χερουβικόν Ύμνον τρεις φορές κάνοντας και τρεις μετάνοιες. Μετά λαμβάνει το θυμιατό και ευλογεί κατά το συνήθης τρόπο, θυμιά την Αγίαν Τράπεζα, την Πρόθεσιν, το Εικονοστάσι και το λαό λέγοντας μυστικός το ‘Ανάστασιν Χριστόυ θεασάμενοι’ και τον 50ον ψαλμον. Ο Ιερεύς προσκυνώντας τρις προ της αγίας Τραπέζης και ασπαζόμενος το Αντιμήνσιον και την αγίαν Τράπεζα, λέγει καθ’ εαυτού τα τροπάρια ταύτα
Ήμαρτον εις σε Σωτήρ, ως ο άσωτος υιός, δέξαι με Πάτερ μετανοούντα, και ελέησον με ο Θεός. Κράζω σοι Χριστέ Σωτήρ, του τελώνου την φωνήν, ιλάσθητί μοι, ώσπερ εκείνω και ελέησον με ο Θεός Και από της Ωραίας Πύλης προς τον λαόν, υποκλινόμενος προς συγχώρησιν λέγει
Τοις μισούσι και αγαπώσιν ημάς, ο Θεός, συγχώρησον. Και απέρχεται εις την ιεράν Πρόθεσιν λέγοντας Ο Θεός ιλάσθητί μοι τω αμαρτωλώ, και ελέησον με. [3] Και άρας τον Αέρα και θυμιά αυτό, και επιτίθησι επί τους ώμους του λέγων Εν ειρήνη επάρατε τας χείρας υμών εις τα άγια και ευλογείτε τον Κύριον. Και θυμιά τα χέρια του, λαβών το άγιον Δισκάριον και το άγιον Ποτήριον λέγει
Ανέβη ο Θεός εν αλαλαγμώ, Κύριος εν φωνή σάλπιγγος. Όταν δε ο Χορός είπη το «Ως τον βασιλέα τον όλων υποδεξόμενοι» εξέρχεται από της βορείας πύλης προπορευομένων εξαπτερύγων, λαμπάδων και θυμιατηρίου και ποιεί την Μεγάλην Είσοδον λέγοντας μεγαλοφώνως Πάντων υμών, μνησθείη Κύριος ο Θεός εν τη Βασιλεία Αυτού, πάντοτε, νυν και αεί και εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Αμήν. Εισερχόμενος εις το ιερό Βήμα αποθέτει τα άγια επί της αγίας Τραπέζης και αίρει από αυτά τα καλύμματα τίθει αυτά εις το άνω μέρος της αγίας Τραπέζης. Είτα λαβών τον Αέρα από τους ώμους του, το θυμιά και σκεπάζει δι’ αυτού τα Άγια λέγων ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Ο ευσχήμων Ιωσήφ, από του ξύλου καθελών το άχραντον σου σώμα, σινδόνι καθαρά ειλήσας και αρώμασιν, εν μνήματι καινώ κηδεύσας απέθετο. Και λαμβάνων το θυμιατήριον, θυμιά τα Άγια λέγων Αγάθυνον κύριε εν τη ευδοκία σου την Σιων και οικοδομηθήτω τα τείχη Ιερουσαλήμ. Τότε ευδοκήσεις θυσίαν δικαιοσύνης αναφοράν και ολοκαυτώματα. Τότε ανοίσουσιν επί το θυσιαστήριόν σου μόσχους και ελέησον με ο Θεός. Και λέγει την ευχήν ταύτην ΕΥΧΗ ΤΗΣ ΠΡΟΣΚΟΜΙΔΗΣ Κύριε ο Θεός ο παντοκράτωρ, ο μόνος άγιος, ο δεχόμενος θυσίαν αινέσεως παρά των επικαλουμένων σε εν όλη καρδία, πρόσδεξαι και ημών των αμαρτωλών την δέησιν και προσάγαγε τω αγίω σου θυσιαστηρίω, και ικάνωσον ημάς προσενεγκείν σοι δώρα τε και θυσίας πνευματικάς υπέρ των ημετέρων αμαρτημάτων και των του λαού αγνοημάτων. Και καταξίωσον ημάς ευρείν χάριν ενώπιόν σου, του γενέσθαι σοι ευπρόσδεκτον την θυσίαν ημών, και επισκηνώσαι το Πνεύμα της χάριτός σου το αγαθόν εφ’ ημάς, και επί τα προκείμενα δώρα ταύτα και επί πάντα τον λαόν σου. Και άμα λήξει του Χερουβικού ύμνου λέγει Πληρώσωμεν την δέησιν ημών τω Κυρίω. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Κύριε ελέησον. Και μετά από κάθε αίτηση. Υπέρ των προτεθέντων τιμίων δώρων, τού Κυρίου δεηθώμεν. Υπέρ του αγίου οίκου τούτου και των μετά πίστεως, ευλαβείας και φόβου Θεού εισιόντων εν αυτώ, του Κυρίου δεηθώμεν. Υπέρ του ρυσθήναι ημάς από πάσης θλίψεως, οργής, κινδύνου και ανάγκης, του Κυρίου δεηθώμεν. Αντιλαβού, σώσον, ελέησον και διαφύλαξον ημάς, ο Θεός, τη ση χάριτι. Την ημέραν πάσαν, τελείαν, αγίαν, ειρηνικήν και αναμάρτητον, παρά του Κυρίου, αιτησώμεθα. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Παράσχου Κύριε. [και μετά από κάθε αίτηση] Άγγελον ειρήνης, πιστόν οδηγόν, φύλακα των ψυχών και των σωμάτων ημών, παρά του Κυρίου αιτησώμεθα. Συγγνώμην και άφεσιν των αμαρτιών και των πλημμελημάτων ημών, παρά του Κυρίου αιτησώμεθα. Τα καλά και συμφέροντα ταις ψυχαίς ημών και ειρήνην τω κόσμω, παρά του Κυρίου αιτησώμεθα. Τον υπόλοιπον χρόνον της ζωής ημών εν ειρήνη και μετανοία εκτελέσαι, παρά του Κυρίου αιτησώμεθα. Χριστιανά τα τέλη της ζωής ημών, ανώδυνα, ανεπαίσχυντα, ειρηνικά, και καλήν απολογίαν την επί του φοβερού βήματος του Χριστού αιτησώμεθα. Της Παναγίας, αχράντου, υπερευλογημένης, ενδόξου Δεσποίνης ημών Θεοτόκου και αειπαρθένου Μαρίας, μετά πάντων των Αγίων μνημονεύσαντες, εαυτούς και αλλήλους και πάσαν την ζωήν ημών Χριστώ τω Θεώ παραθώμεθα. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Σοι Κύριε. ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Δια των οικτιρμών του μονογενούς σου Υιού, μεθ’ ου ευλογητός ει, συν τω Παναγίω και αγαθώ και ζωοποιώ σου Πνεύματι, νυν και αεί και εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Αμήν. Και ευλογών ο Ιερεύς τον λαόν λέγει ΙΕΡΕΥΣ: Ειρήνη πάσι. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Και τω πνεύματί σου.
ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Αγαπήσωμεν αλλήλους, ίνα εν ομονοία ομολογήσωμεν.
ΧΟΡΟΣ Πατέρα, Υιόν και Άγιον Πνεύμα, Τριάδα ομοούσιον και αχώριστον.
Ο Ιερεύς προσκυνεί τρις λέγων καθ’ εαυτού ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Αγαπήσω σε, Κύριε, η ισχύς μου, Κύριος στερέωμά μου, και καταφυγή μου, και ρύστης μου. Τας θύρας, τας θύρας. Εν σοφία πρόσχωμεν.
Και ο Ιερεύς, ο Χορός και όλος ο λαός λέγουν το Σύμβολον της Πίστεως. Πιστεύω εις ένα Θεόν, Πατέρα, Παντοκράτορα, ποιητήν ουρανού και γης, ορατών τε πάντων και αοράτων. Και εις έναν Κύριον Ιησούν Χριστόν, τον Υιόν του Θεού τον Μονογενή, τον εκ του Πατρός γεννηθέντα προ πάντων των αιώνων. Φως εκ φωτός, Θεόν αληθινόν εκ Θεού αληθινού γεννηθέντα, ου ποιηθέντα, ομοούσιον τω Πατρί, δι’ ου τα πάντα εγένετο. Τον δι’ ημάς τους ανθρώπους και δια την ημετέραν σωτηρίαν κατελθόντα εκ των ουρανών και σαρκωθέντα εκ Πνεύματος Αγίου και Μαρίας της Παρθένου και ενανθρωπήσαντα. Σταυρωθέντα τε υπέρ ημών επί Ποντίου Πιλάτου και παθόντα και ταφέντα. Και αναστάντα τη τρίτη ημέρα κατά τας Γραφάς. Και ανελθόντα εις τους Ουρανούς και καθεζόμενον εκ δεξιών του Πατρός. Και πάλιν ερχόμενον μετά δόξης κρίναι ζώντας και νεκρούς, Ου της βασιλείας ουκ έσται τέλος. Και εις το Πνεύμα το Άγιον, το Κύριον, το Ζωοποιόν, το εκ του Πατρός εκπορευόμενον, το συν Πατρί και Υιώ συμπροσκυνούμενον και συνδοξαζόμενον, το λαλήσαν δια των Προφητών. Εις Μίαν, Αγίαν, Καθολικήν και Αποστολικήν Εκκλησίαν. Ομολογώ εν Βάπτισμα εις άφεσιν αμαρτιών. Προσδοκώ ανάστασιν νεκρών. Και ζωήν του μέλλοντος αιώνος. Αμήν.
ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Στώμεν καλώς, στώμεν μετά φόβου, πρόσχωμεν, την αγίαν αναφοράν, εν ειρήνη προσφέρειν. ΧΟΡΟΣ Έλεον ειρήνης, θυσίαν αινέσεως. ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Η χάρις του Κυρίου ημών Ιησού Χριστού και η αγάπη του Θεού και του Πατρός και η κοινωνία του Αγίου Πνεύματος είη μετά πάντων υμών. Και βλέπων προς τον λαόν, ευλογεί αυτόν. ΧΟΡΟΣ Και μετά του πνεύματός σου. Ο Ιερεύς υψών τας χείρας του εκφωνεί ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Άνω σχώμεν τας καρδίας.
ΧΟΡΟΣ Έχομεν προς τον Κύριον. Και βλέπων προς την εικόνα του Χριστού λέγει Ευχαριστήσωμεν τω Κυρίω. ΧΟΡΟΣ Άξιον και δίκαιον εστί. Ο Ιερεύς απάρχεται της αγίας Αναφοράς ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Άξιον και δίκαιον σε υμνείν, σε ευλογείν, σε αινείν, σοι ευχαριστείν, σε προσκυνείν εν παντί τόπω της δεσποτείας σου. Συ γαρ ει Θεός ανέκφραστος, απερινόητος, αόρατος, ακατάληπτος, αεί ων, ωσαύτως ων, συ και ο μονογενής σου Υιός, και το Πνεύμα σου το Άγιον. Συ εκ του μη όντος εις το είναι ημάς παρήγαγες, και παραπεσόντας ανέστησας πάλιν και ουκ απέστης πάντα ποιών, έως ημάς εις τον ουρανόν ανήγαγες, και την βασιλείαν σου, εχαρίσω την μέλλουσαν. Υπέρ τούτων απάντων ευχαριστούμέν σοι, και τω μονογενεί σου Υιώ και τω Πνεύματί σου τω Αγίω. Υπέρ πάντων, ων ίσμεν, και ων ουκ ίσμεν, των φανερών και αφανών ευεργεσιών, των εις ημάς γεγενημένων. Ευχαριστούμεν σοι και υπέρ της λειτουργίας ταύτης, ην εκ των χειρών ημών δέξασθαι καταξίωσας, καίτοι σοι παρεστήκασι χιλιάδες Αρχαγγέλων και μυριάδες Αγγέλων, τα Χερουβείμ και τα Σεραφείμ, εξαπτέρυγα, πολυόμματα, μετάρσια, πτερωτά, Τον επινίκιον ύμνον άδοντα, βοώντα, κεκραγότα, και λέγοντα, ΧΟΡΟΣ Άγιος, άγιος, άγιος, Κύριος Σαβαώθ, Πλήρης, ο ουρανός και η γη της δόξης σου. Ωσαννά εν τοις υψίστοις, ευλογημένος ο ερχόμενος εν ονόματι Κυρίου. Ωσαννά ο εν τοις υψίστοις. ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Μετά τούτων και ημείς των μακαρίων δυνάμεων, Δέσποτα φιλάνθρωπε, βοώμεν και λέγομεν, Άγιος ει και πανάγιος, συ και ο μονογενής σου Υιός και το Πνεύμα σου το Άγιον. Άγιος ει και πανάγιος και μεγαλοπρεπής η δόξα σου, Ος τον κόσμον σου ούτως ηγάπησας, ώστε τον Υιόν σου τον μονογενή δούναι, ίνα πας ο πιστεύων εις αυτόν μη απόλυται, αλλ’ έχη ζωήν αιώνιον. Ός ελθών και πάσαν την υπέρ ημών οικονομίαν πληρώσας, τη νυκτί, η παρεδίδοτο, μάλλον δε εαυτόν παρεδίδου υπέρ της του κόσμου ζωής, λαβών άρτον εν ταις αγίαις αυτού και αχράντοις και αμωμήτοις χερσίν, ευχαριστήσας και ευλογήσας, αγιάσας, κλάσας, έδωκε τοις αγίοις αυτού Μαθηταίς και Αποστόλοις, ειπών Λάβετε, φάγετε, τούτο μου εστί το Σώμα, το υπέρ υμών κλώμενον εις άφεσιν αμαρτιών. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Αμήν.
ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Ομοίως και το ποτήριον μετά το δειπνήσαι, λέγων Πίετε εξ αυτού πάντες, τούτο εστί το Αίμα μου, το της Καινής Διαθήκης, το υπέρ ημών και πολλών εκχυνόμενον εις άφεσιν αμαρτιών. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Αμήν.
Ο Ιερεύς κλινόμενος την κεφαλήν λέγει την ευχήν ταύτην Μεμνημένοι τοίνυν της σωτηρίου ταύτης εντολής, και πάντων των υπέρ ημών γεγενημένων, του σταυρού, του τάφου, της τριημέρου αναστάσεως, της εις ουρανούς αναβάσεως, της εκ δεξιών καθέδρας, της δευτέρας και ενδόξου πάλιν παρουσίας. Τα Σα εκ των Σων, σοι προσφέρομεν κατά πάντα, και δια πάντα. Όταν λέγει ο Ιερεύς «Τα Σα εκ των Σων» υψώνει τα άγια σταυροειδώς, υψών το άγιον Δισκάριον δια της δεξιάς και το άγιον Ποτήριον δια της αριστεράς.
ΧΟΡΟΣ Σε υμνούμεν, σε ευλογούμεν, σοι ευχαριστούμεν, Κύριε, και δεόμεθά σου, ο Θεός ημών. ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Έτι προσφέρομέν σοι την λογικήν ταύτην και αναίμακτον λατρείαν, και παρακαλούμεν σε και δεόμεθα, και ικετεύομεν. Κατάπεμψον το Πνεύμα σου το Άγιον εφ’ ημάς, και επί τα προκείμενα δώρα ταύτα. Και ευλογών το άγιον Άρτον λέγει Και ποίησον τον μεν άρτον τούτον, τίμιον Σώμα του Χριστού σου. Αμήν. Και ευλογών επάνω του αγίου Ποτηρίου λέγει Το δε εν τω ποτηρίω τούτω, τίμιον Αίμα του Χριστού σου. Αμήν. Και ευλογών αμφότερα τα Άγια λέγει Μεταβαλών τω Πνεύματί σου τω Αγίω. Αμήν. Αμήν. Αμήν.
Και λαβών το θυμιατήριον, θυμιά τα Άγια τρις επί τρίτον λέγων εκφώνως Εξαιρέτως της Παναγίας, αχράντου, υπερευλογημένης, ενδόξου, Δεσποίνης ημών Θεοτόκου και αειπαρθένου Μαρίας.
ΧΟΡΟΣ Άξιόν εστιν ως αληθώς μακαρίζειν σε την Θεοτόκον, την αειμακάριστον και παναμώμητον και μητέρα του Θεού ημών. Την τιμιωτέραν των Χερουβείμ και ενδοξοτέραν ασυγκρίτως των Σεραφείμ, την αδιαφθόρως Θεόν Λόγον τεκούσαν, την όντως Θεοτόκον, σε μεγαλύνομεν.
ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Του Αγίου Ιωάννου, προφήτου προδρόμου και Βαπτιστού, των αγίων ενδόξων και πανευφήμων Αποστόλων, (του αγίου της ημέρας) ου και την μνήμην επιτελούμεν, και πάντων σου των Αγίων, ων ταις ικεσίαις επίσκεψαι ημάς, ο Θεός. Και μνήσθητι πάντων των κεκοιμημένων, επ’ ελπίδι αναστάσεως, ζωής αιωνίου [ώδε λέγονται τα ονόματα των κεκοιμημένων] και ανάπαυσον αυτούς, ο Θεός ημών, όπου επισκοπεί το φως του προσώπου σου. Έτι παρακαλούμέν σε, μνήσθητι, Κύριε, πάσης επισκοπής ορθοδόξων, των ορθοτομούντων τον λόγον της σης αληθείας παντός του πρεσβυτερίου, της εν Χριστώ διακονίας και παντός ιερατικού και μοναχικού τάγματος. Έτι προσφέρομέν σοι την λογικήν ταύτην λατρείαν υπέρ της οικουμένης, υπέρ της αγίας σου Καθολικής και Αποστολικής Εκκλησίας, υπέρ των εν αγνεία και σεμνή πολιτεία διαγόντων, υπέρ των πιστοτάτων και φιλοχρίστων ημών Βασιλέων, παντός του παλατίου και του στρατοπέδου αυτών. Δος αυτοίς, Κύριε, ειρηνικόν το Βασίλειον, ίνα και ημείς, εν τη γαλήνη αυτών, ήρεμον και ησύχιον βίον διάγωμεν, εν πάση ευσεβεία και σεμνότητι. Εν πρώτοις, μνήσθητι, Κύριε, του Πατρός και Αρχιεπισκόπου ημών [δεινός], ον χάρισαι ταις αγίαις σου Εκκλησίαις εν ειρήνη, σώον, έντιμον, υγιά, μακροημερεύοντα, και ορθοτομούντα τον λόγον της σης αληθείας. Και ων έκαστος κατά διάνοιαν έχει, και πάντων και πασών. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Και πάντων και πασών.
ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Μνήσθητι, Κύριε, της κώμης ταύτης, εν η παροικούμεν και πάσης πόλεως και χώρας και των πίστει οικούντων εν αυταίς. Μνήσθητι, Κύριε, πλεόντων, οδοιπορούντων, νοσούντων, καμνόντων, αιχμαλώτων και της σωτηρίας αυτών. Μνήσθητι, Κύριε, των καρποφορούντων και καλλιεργούντων εν ταις αγίαις σου Εκκλησίαις και μεμνημένων και πενήτων και επί πάντας ημάς τα ελέη σου εξαπόστειλον. Και δος ημίν εν ενί στόματι και μια καρδία, δοξάζειν και ανυμνείν το πάντιμον και μεγαλοπρεπές όνομά σου, του Πατρός και του Υιού και του Αγίου Πνεύματος, νυν και αεί και εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Αμήν. Και στραφείς προς τον λαόν, ευλογών αυτόν λέγων ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Και έσται τα ελέη του μεγάλου Θεού και Σωτήρος ημών Ιησού Χριστού, μετά πάντων υμών ΧΟΡΟΣ: Και μετά του πνεύματός σου.
ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Πάντων των αγίων μνημονεύσαντες, έτι και έτι εν ειρήνη του Κυρίου δεηθώμεν. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Κύριε ελέησον. [και μετά από κάθε αίτηση] Υπέρ των προσκομισθέντων και αγιασθέντων τιμίων δώρων, του Κυρίου δεηθώμεν. Όπως ο φιλάνθρωπος Θεός ημών, ο προσδεξάμενος αυτά εις το άγιον και υπερουράνιον και νοερόν αυτού θυσιαστήριον εις οσμήν ευωδίας πνευματικής, αντικαταπέμψη ημίν την θείαν Χάριν και την δωρεάν του Αγίου Πνεύματος δεηθώμεν. Υπέρ του ρυσθήναι ημάς από πάσης θλίψεως, οργής, κινδύνου και ανάγκης, του Κυρίου δεηθώμεν. Αντιλαβού, σώσον, ελέησον και διαφύλαξον ημάς, ο Θεός, τη ση χάριτι. Σοι παρακατατιθέμεθα την ζωήν ημών άπασαν και την ελπίδα, Δέσποτα φιλάνθρωπε, και παρακαλούμέν σε και δεόμεθα και ικετεύομεν, καταξίωσον ημάς μεταλαβείν των επουρανίων σου και φρικτών μυστηρίων ταύτης της ιεράς και πνευματικής τραπέζης, μετά καθαρού συνειδότος, εις άφεσιν αμαρτιών, εις συγχώρησιν πλημμελημάτων, εις Πνεύματος Αγίου κοινωνίαν, εις Βασιλείας ουρανών κληρονομίαν, εις παρρησίαν την προς σε, μη εις κρίμα η εις κατάκριμα. Και καταξίωσον ημάς, Δέσποτα, μετά παρρησίας, ακατακρίτως, τολμάν επικαλείσθαι σε τον επουράνιον Θεόν Πατέρα, και λέγειν. Και ο Ιερεύς, ο Χορός και όλος ο Λαός λέγων την Κυριακήν Προσευχήν.
ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Ότι σου έστιν η Βασιλεία και η δύναμις και η δόξα, του Πατρός και του Υιού και του Αγίου Πνεύματος, νυν και αεί και εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Αμήν. Ο Ιερεύς ευλογών τον λαόν ΙΕΡΕΥΣ: Ειρήνη πάσι. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Και τω πνεύματί σου. ΙΕΡΕΥΣ: Tας κεφαλάς ημών τω Κυρίω κλίνωμεν. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Σοι, Κύριε.
ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Ευχαριστούμέν σοι, Βασιλεύ αόρατε, ο τη αμετρήτω σου δυνάμει τα πάντα δημιουργήσας και τω πλήθει του ελέους σου εξ ουκ όντων εις το είναι παραγαγών τα σύμπαντα. Αυτός Δέσποτα, ουρανόθεν έπιδε επί τους υποκεκλικότας τας εαυτών κεφαλάς. Ου γαρ έκλιναν σαρκί και αίματι, αλλά σοι, τω φοβερώ Θεώ. Συ ουν, Δέσποτα, τα προκείμενα πάσιν ημίν εις αγαθόν εξομάλισον, κατά την εκάστου ιδίαν χρείαν, τοις πλέουσι σύμπλευσον, τοις οδοιπορούσι συνόδευσον, τους νοσούντας ίασαι, ο ιατρός των ψυχών και των σωμάτων ημών.
Χάριτι και οικτιρμοίς και φιλανθρωπία του μονογενούς σου Υιού, μεθ’ ου ευλογητός ει, συν τω παναγίω και αγαθώ και ζωοποιώ σου Πνεύματι, νυν και αεί και εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Αμήν.
Ο Ιερεύς, κλινόμενος την κεφαλή, λέγει την ευχήν ταύτην. Πρόσχες, Κύριε Ιησού Χριστέ ο Θεός ημών, εξ αγίου κατοικητηρίου σου, και από θρόνου δόξης της Βασιλείας σου, και ελθέ εις το αγιάσαι ημάς, ο άνω τω Πατρί συγκαθήμενος και ώδε ημίν αοράτως συνών. Και καταξίωσον τη κραταιά σου χειρί μεταδούναι ημίν του αχράντου Σώματός σου και του τιμίου Αίματος και δι’ ημών παντί τω λαώ. Ο Θεός ιλάσθητί μοι τω αμαρτωλώ και ελέησον με. Αινείτε τον Κύριον εκ τωv ουρανώv, Αινείτε αυτόν εν τοις υψίστοις. Αλληλούϊα. Ο Ιερεύς, μετά προσοχής και ευλαβείας, μελίζων, λέγει Μελίζεται και διαμερίζεται ο Αμνός του Θεού, ο μελιζόμενος, και μη διαιρούμενος, ο πάντοτε εσθιόμενος, και μηδέποτε δαπανώμενος, αλλά τους μετέχοντας αγιάζων. Μελίσας τον εις χείρας αυτού καθηγιασμένου Άρτον εις τεμάχια τέσσαρα, εναποθέτει αυτά εν τω αγίω Δισκαρίω, ούτως
Ο Ιερεύς λαβών την μερίδα του Αμνού, την έχουσαν χαρακτήρας ΙΣ, ποιοί με αυτήν σταυρόν επάνω του Ποτηρίου λέγων Πλήρωμα ποτηρίου πίστεως, Πνεύματος Αγίου. Αμήν. Και ούτως εμβάλλει αυτήν εις το άγιον Ποτήριον. Και λαβών το Ζέον και ευλογεί αυτό λέγοντας Ευλογημένη η ζέσις των Αγίων σου, Κύριε, πάντοτε, νυν και αεί και εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων. Αμήν. Και εγχέει εις το άγιον Ποτήριον το ζέον όσο χρειάζεται λέγοντας Ζέσις πίστεως, πλήρης Πνεύματος Αγίου. Αμήν. Και υποκλίνας την κεφαλήν, αναγινώσκει ευλαβώς τας Ευχάς της Θείας Μεταλήψεως. Πιστεύω, Κύριε, και ομολογώ ότι συ ει αληθώς ο Χριστός, ο Υιός του Θεού του ζώντος, ο ελθών εις τον κόσμον αμαρτωλούς σώσαι, ων πρώτος ειμί εγώ. Έτι πιστεύω, ότι τούτο αυτό εστί το αχράντον Σώμα σου και τούτο αυτό εστί το τίμιον Αίμα σου. Δέομαι ουν σου, ελέησόν με και συγχώρησον μοι τα παραπτώματά μου, τα εκούσια και τα ακούσια, τα εν λόγω, τα εν έργω, τα εν γνώσει και αγνοία, και αξίωσόν με ακατακρίτως μετασχείν των αχράντων σου μυστηρίων, εις άφεσιν αμαρτιών, και εις ζωήν αιώνιον. Έθελξας πόθω με Χριστέ, και ηλλοίωσας τω θείω έρωτι, αλλά κατάφλεξον πυρί αϋλω τας αμαρτίας μου, και εμπλησθήναι της εν σοι τρυφής καταξίωσον, ίνα τας δύο σκιρτών μεγαλύνω, Αγαθέ, παρουσίας σου. Εν ταις λαμπρότησι των αγίων σου, πως εισελεύσομαι ο ανάξιος; Εάν γαρ τολμήσω συνεισελθείν εις τον νυμφώνα, ο χιτών με ελέγχει. Ότι ουκ έστι του γάμου, και δέσμιος εκβαλούμαι υπό των Αγγέλων, καθάρισον, Κύριε, τον ρύπον της ψυχής μου, και σώσον με, ως φιλάνθρωπος. Δέσποτα φιλάνθρωπε, Κύριε Ιησού Χριστέ, ο Θεός μου, μη εις κρίμα μοι γένοιτο τα Άγια ταύτα, δια το ανάξιον είναι με, αλλ’ εις κάθαρσιν και αγιασμόν ψυχής τε και σώματος, και εις αρραβώνα μελλούσης ζωής και βασιλείας. Εμοί δε το προσκολλάσθαι τω Θεώ αγαθόν εστί, τίθεσθαι εν τω Κυρίω την ελπίδα της σωτηρίας μου. Του Δείπνου σου του μυστικού, σήμερον, Υιέ Θεού, κοινωνόν με παράλαβε, ου μη γαρ τοις εχθροίς σου το μυστήριον είπω, ου φίλημα σοι δώσω, καθάπερ ο Ιούδας, αλλ’ ως ο Ληστής ομολογώ σοι. Και κάνοντας τρις μετάνοιες λέγει O Θεός ιλάσθητί μοι τω αμαρτωλώ, και ελέησον με. [3] Και πλησιάσας εις τα Άγια μετά φόβου και τρόμου, λαμβάνει έν μέρος εκ του αγίου Σώματος [ΙΣ] και λέγει Ιδού προσέρχομαι Χριστώ τω αθανάτω βασιλεί και Θεώ ημών. Μεταδίδοταί μοι […..] τω αναξίω Πρεσβυτέρω, το τίμιον και πανάγιον Σώμα του Κυρίου και Θεού, και Σωτήρος ημών Ιησού Χριστού, εις άφεσίν μου αμαρτιών, και εις ζωήν αιώνιον. Αμήν. Και ούτω μεταλαμβάνει του εν χερσίν αυτού αγίου Σώματος μετά φόβου και πάσης ευλαβείας, λέγων Αμήν. Και λαμβάνει την Μούσαν, σπογγίζει το χέρι του. Είτα λαμβάνει το μάκτρον και καλώς επιστηρίξας υπό τον πώγωνα αυτού, λαμβάνει συν το μάκτρον το άγιον Ποτήριον και λέγει
Έτι μεταδίδοταί μοι […..], τω αναξίω Πρεσβυτέρω, το τίμιον και πανάγιον Αίμα του Κυρίου και Θεού, και Σωτήρος ημών Ιησού Χριστού, εις άφεσίν μου αμαρτιών, και εις ζωήν αιώνιον. Και μεταλαμβάνει τρίτον εξ αυτού αποσπογγίσας δια του μάκτρου τα χείλη του και το άγιο Ποτήριον λέγων Τούτο ήψατο των χειλέων μου, και αφελεί Κύριος πάσας τας ανομίας μου και τας αμαρτίας μου περικαθαριεί. Είτα λαμβάνει το άγιον Δισκάριον και με προσοχή βάλλει τα τμήματα του Αγίου Σώματος, όπερ μελίζει εις μικρά τεμάχια, εις το Άγιον Ποτήριον λέγων Ανάστασιν Χριστού θεασάμενοι, προσκυνήσωμεν άγιον, Κύριον Ιησούν, τον μόνον αναμάρτητον. Τον Σταυρόν σου, Χριστέ, προσκυνούμεν και την αγίαν σου ανάστασιν υμνούμεν και δοξάζομεν, συ γαρ ει Θεός ημών, εκτός σου άλλον ουκ οίδαμεν, το όνομά σου ονομάζομεν. Δεύτε πάντες οι πιστοί προσκυνήσωμεν την του Χριστού αγίαν ανάστασιν, ιδού γαρ ήλθε δια του Σταυρού, χαρά εν όλω τω κόσμω, δια παντός ευλογούντες τον Κύριον, υμνούμεν την ανάστασιν αυτού. Σταυρόν γαρ υπομείνας δι’ ημάς, θανάτω θάνατον ώλεσεν. Φωτίζου, φωτίζου, η νέα Ιερουσαλήμ, η γαρ δόξα Κυρίου επί σε ανέτειλε. Χόρευε νυν, και αγάλλου Σιών, συ δε αγνή, τέρπου Θεοτόκε, εν τη εγέρσει του τόκου σου. Ω θείας, ω φίλης, ω γλυκυτάτης σου φωνής, μεθ’ ημών αψευδώς γαρ, επηγγείλω έσεσθαι, μέχρι τερμάτων αιώνος Χριστέ, ην οι πιστοί, άγκυραν ελπίδος, κατέχοντες αγαλλόμεθα. Ω Πάσχα το μέγα, και ιερώτατον Χριστέ, ω σοφία και Λόγε, του Θεού και δύναμις, δίδου ημίν εκτυπώτερον σου μετασχείν, εν τη ανεσπέρω ημέρα της βασιλείας σου.
Και εισκομίζει εν τω αγίω Ποτήριον άπαντα τας μερίδας [ήτοι τας μερίδας της Θεοτόκου, των Αγίων και των ψυχών] λέγων
Απόπλυνον, Κύριε, τα αμαρτήματα των ενθάδε μνημονευθέντων δούλων σου τω αίματί σου τω αγίω πρεσβείαις της Θεοτόκου και πάντων σου των Αγίων. Αμήν Και επαίρει το άγιον Ποτήριον και την Λαβίδα, εξέρχεται δια της Ωραίας Πύλης και λέγει
Μετά φόβου Θεού, πίστεως και αγάπης προσέλθετε. Και γίνεται η μετάληψις σ’ όσοι βουλόμενοι μεταλαβείν. Μεταδίδοντας την Θεία Κοινωνία, ο Ιερεύς λέγει στο καθένα Μεταλαμβάνει ο δούλος του Θεού [δεινός] το Σώμα και Αίμα του Κυρίου και Θεού και Σωτήρος ημών Ιησού Χριστού εις άφεσιν αμαρτιών και ζωήν αιώνιων. Αμήν. Εν δε τω κοινωνείν τους πιστούς ο Χορός ψάλλει ΧΟΡΟΣ Σώμα Χριστού μεταλάβετε, πηγής αθανάτου γεύσασθε. Αλληλούϊα. Αλληλούϊα. Αλληλούϊα. Του Δείπνου σου του μυστικού, σήμερον, Υιέ Θεού, κοινωνόν με παράλαβε, ου μη γαρ τοις εχθροίς σου το μυστήριον είπω, ου φίλημα σοι δώσω, καθάπερ ο Ιούδας, αλλ’ ως ο Ληστής ομολογώ σοι. ΧΟΡΟΣ Είδομεν το φως το αληθινόν, ελάβομεν Πνεύμα επουράνιον, εύρομεν πίστιν αληθή, αδιαίρετον Τριάδα προσκυνούντες, αύτη γαρ ημάς έσωσεν. Και ο Ιερεύς επιστρέφει το άγιον Ποτήριον εις την αγίαν Τράπεζα, λαμβάνει το θυμιατήριον και θυμιά τρις τα Άγια λέγων τρις ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Υψώθητι επί τους ουρανούς ο Θεός και επί πάσαν την γην η δόξα σου. Και λαβών το Δισκάριον και το Ποτήριον λέγει χαμηλοφώνως Ευλογητός ο Θεός ημών, Και στραφείς προς τον λαόν λέγει εκφώνως Πάντοτε, νυν και αεί και εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων. Και αποτίθησιν αυτά επί της ιεράς Προθέσεως. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Αμήν.
Πληρωθήτω το στόμα ημών αινέσεως σου, Κύριε, όπως υμνήσωμεν την δόξαν σου, ότι ηξίωσας ημάς μετασχείν των αγίων, αρχάντων, αθανάτων και ζωοποιών μυστηρίον σου. Στήριξον ημάς εν τω σω αγιασμώ, όλην την ημέραν μελετάν την δικαιοσύνην σου. Αλληλούϊα.[3]

Ευχαριστούμεν σοι, Δέσποτα φιλάνθρωπε, ευεργέτα των ψυχών ημών, ότι και τη παρούση ημέρα κατηξίωσας ημάς των επουρανίων σου και αθανάτων μυστηρίων. Ορθοτόμησον ημών την οδόν, στήριξον πάντας ημάς εν τω φόβω σου, φρούρησον ημών την ζωήν, ασφάλισαι ημών τα διαβήματα, ευχαίς και ικεσίαις της ενδόξου Θεοτόκου και αειπαρθένου Μαρίας, και πάντων των αγίων σου. Ότι συ ει ο αγιασμός ημών, και σοι την δόξαν αναπέμπομεν τω Πατρί και τω Υιώ και τω Αγίω Πνεύματι, νυν και αεί και εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων. ΧΟΡΟΣ: Αμήν. - ΙΕΡΕΥΣ: Εν ειρήνη προέλθωμεν. ΙΕΡΕΥΣ Ο ευλογών τους ευλογούντάς σε, Κύριε και αγιάζων τους επί σοι πεποιθότας, σώσον τον λαόν σου και ευλόγησον την κληρονομίαν σου. Το πλήρωμα της Εκκλησίας σου φύλαξον, αγίασον τους αγαπώντας την ευπρέπειαν του οίκου σου. Συ αυτούς αντιδόξασον τη θεϊκή σου δυνάμει και μη εγκαταλίπης ημάς τούς ελπίζοντας επί σε. Ειρήνην τω κόσμω σου δώρησαι, ταις Εκκλησίαις σου, τοις ιερεύσι, τοις άρχουσιν ημών, τω στρατώ και παντί τω λαώ σου. Ότι πάσα δόσις αγαθή και παν δώρημα τέλειον άνωθέν εστι καταβαίνον εκ σου του Πατρός των φώτων, και σοι την δόξαν και ευχαριστίαν και προσκύνησιν αναπέμπομεν τω Πατρί και τω Υιώ και τω Αγίω Πνεύματι, νυν και αεί και εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων. ΧΟΡΟΣ Στερεώσαι Κύριος ο Θεός την αγίαν και αμώμητον πίστιν των ευσεβών και ορθοδόξων Χριστιανών, συν τη αγία Εκκλησία και κώμη ταύτη εις αιώνας αιώνων. Αμήν. Αιωνία η μνήμη των μακαρίων και αοιδίμων κτητόρων της αγίας Εκκλησίας ταύτης και πάντων των ορθοδόξων.

The great glory of Cyprus, the preacher of the world, the first amongst the Antiochians, the architect of Christian calling, the renowned pioneer of Rome, and the divine hauler of the nations, the vessel of grace, the kinsman of the Holy Spirit, the travelling companion of the holy and great Apostle Paul, first amongst the Seventy, equal to the Twelve. Let us all the faithful piously come together and crown Barnabas with hymns for he intercedes with Christ to have mercy upon our souls. FIRST PRAYER OF THE FAITHFUL We give thanks unto Thee, O Lord God of hosts, who hast accounted us worthy also now to stand before Thy Holy Altar and to bow down and beseech Thy compassions for our sins and the errors of the people. Accept, O God, our prayer; make us to become worthy to offer unto Thee prayers and supplications, and the bloodless sacrifice for all Thy people: and enable us, whom Thou hast appointed to this Thy ministry, by the power of Thy Holy Spirit, to call upon Thee, at all times and in every place, without impediment and without condemnation, with a clear testimony of our conscience, so that hearing us Thou mayest be gracious unto us in the multitude of Thy goodness.

SECOND PRAYER OF THE FAITHFUL That being ever guarded by Thy might we may give glory to Thee, to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and for ever: world without end. CHOIR: Amen. During the singing of the Cherubicon, the Priest bowing his head shall say the following prayer on behalf of himself.
PRIEST THE PRAYER OF THE CHERUBICON The prayer being finished, the Priest shall say the Cherubic hymn thrice, making a reverence at the end of each repetition. Then the Priest taking up the censer and blessing the incense in the usual way, shall cense the Holy Table round about, the prothesis, the Iconostasis and the people saying secretly “We have seen the resurrection of Christ” and then Psalm 50 up to the verse “O God Thou wilt not despise”. Then standing before the Holy Altar, he shall make three lowly reverences saying to himself: O Saviour, I have sinned before Thee as the Prodigal Son, accept me, O Father, as a penitent, and have mercy upon me, O God. With the voice of the Publican I cry unto Thee, O Christ Saviour. Be gracious unto me, as Thou wast with him, and have mercy upon me, O God. And bowing humbly to the people he shall say in a low voice: May God forgive them that hate us and them that love us. Then shall he proceed to the offertory table saying as he goes: O God, be gracious unto me a sinner, and have mercy upon me.[3] And the Priest taking the aer shall first cense it and then lay it on the his shoulders saying: Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord. Then censing his hands he shall take up the paten and the chalice saying:
God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet. And he shall go out of the Sanctuary by the north side and make the Great Entrance, preceded by lighted candles, the Six-winged fans and the censer. And as he goes round about the nave, he shall say in a loud voice: May the Lord God remember all of you in his kingdom, always, now and forever: world without end.
CHOIR: Amen The Priest shall then set the paten and holy chalice upon the Altar. And removing the veils he shall place them on the one side or the upper part of the Altar, and taking from his shoulders the aer and censing it he shall cover therewith the holy gifts saying: PRIEST Down from the tree Joseph, a godly man, took Thy most pure body, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, and laid and closed it in a new sepulchre. And taking the censer he shall cense the holy gifts three times saying: Do good in Thy good pleasure unto Zion: build Thou the walls of Jerusalem. Then shalt Thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon Thine alter. And he shall say this Prayer: THE OFFERTORY PRAYER O Lord God Almighty, who alone art holy, who dost accept the sacrifice of praise from such as call upon Thee with their whole heart; accept and receive also unto Thy Holy Altar the supplication of us sinners; and enable us to offer unto Thee both gifts and spiritual sacrifices for our sins and for the errors of the people. And account us worthy to find grace in Thy sight, that our sacrifice may be well pleasing to Thee, and the good Spirit of Thy grace may dwell in us, and in these gifts here set forth; and in all Thy people. And the choir having finished the Cherubic Hymn, the Priest shall say the following petitions. Let us complete our supplication unto the Lord. CHOIR: Kyrie eleison. For this holy temple and for them that enter therein with faith, reverence and fear of God, let us pray unto the Lord.

And after each petition For an angel of peace, faithful guide and guardian of our souls and bodies, let us entreat the Lord. For pardon and remission of our sins and transgression, let us entreat the Lord. For things good and profitable to our souls, and peace for the world, let us entreat the Lord. That we may pass the remainder of our lives in peace and repentance, let us entreat the Lord. For a Christian ending to our life, painless, without shame and peaceful, and a good defence before the dread judgement seat of Christ, let us entreat the Lord. Mindful of our most holy and undefiled, most blessed and glorious Lady, Mother of God and ever-Virgin Mary; and of all the saints; Let us commend ourselves and one another, and our whole life to Christ our God. The Lord is my firm support, and my refuge, and my deliverer. The doors, the doors. In wisdom let us give heed.
And the Priest, the choir and all the people shall recite the Creed [Confession of Faith]. I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only-begotten Son of God, Begotten of the Father before all worlds, Light of Light, Very God of Very God, Begotten not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made. Who for us men and for our salvation, came down from heaven and was incarnate of the Holy Ghost and the Virgin Mary, and was made man. And was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate, He suffered and was buried, and the third day He rose again according to the scriptures, and ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of the Father. That they may be to them that partake thereof unto vigilance of soul, the remission of sins, the communion of Thy Holy Spirit, the fulfilment of the kingdom of heaven; and for boldness to approach Thee, neither unto judgement nor unto condemnation. Moreover we offer unto Thee this reasonable service for them that have gone to their rest in faith: for our forefathers, fathers, patriarchs, prophets, apostles, preachers, evangelists, martyrs, confessors, ascetics; and for every righteous spirit in faith made perfect. And taking up the censer, he shall cense three times the Holy Things saying aloud: More especially our most holy and undefiled, most blessed and glorious Lady, Mother of God and ever-Virgin Mary.
CHOIR PRIEST For St. John the Prophet, Forerunner and Baptist, for the holy and all-glorious Apostles, for St. [Name] to whose memory we dedicate this day, and for all Thy saints, at whose intercessions visit us, O God. And remember all them that are fallen asleep in the hope of resurrection unto life eternal: [and he remembers such as he will of the departed, pronouncing their names] and give them rest where the light of Thy countenance watcheth over them. Also we offer unto Thee this reasonable service for the whole world; for the Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church; for them that live in purity and decency; for those in authority over us who are faithful and pious and all their household. Grant unto them, O Lord, to rule over us in peace, that we also may lead a peaceable and quiet life in all godliness and decency. PRIEST We give thanks unto Thee, O King invisible, who in Thine immeasurable power didst fashion all things, and in the multitude of Thy mercies didst from non-being bring all things into being. Do Thou, O Master, look down from heaven upon them that bow their heads unto Thee; for they are bowed not before flesh and blood, but unto Thee, O dread God. Therefore, do Thou grant, O Master, that these Thy gifts may be for each of us beneficial, for each according to his needs. Sail with them that sail, accompany them that travel by land, heal the sick, O Thou who art the physician of our souls and bodies. Through the grace and compassions and love for mankind of thine Only-begotten Son, with whom Thou art blessed, together with Thy most holy, good, and life-giving Spirit, now and for ever: world without end. The Priest, bowing his head shall say also this prayer: Give heed, O Lord Jesus Christ our God, from Thy holy dwelling place, and from the glorious throne of Thy kingdom, and come to sanctify us, O Thou that sittest on high with the Father and art here invisibly present with us. And vouchsafe by Thy mighty hand to impart unto us of Thy most pure Body and precious Blood; and through us unto all Thy people. And the Priest breaking the Lamb in four parts shall say: Broken and divided is the Lamb of God; which being broken yet is not divided; Being ever eaten, never is consumed; But sanctifieth them that partake thereof. And he shall place the four pieces on the holy paten, laying the ΙC at the top of the paten. The ΧC at the bottom, the ΝΙ to his own left-hand side and the ΚΑ to his right.
And the Priest taking from the paten the particle which lies uppermost, that marked IC, shall make therewith the sign of the Cross over the chalice and placing it therein shall say: The fullness of the Holy Spirit. Amen. The Priest blessing the Zeon [warm water] shall say: Blessed is the fervency of Thy saints, always, now and for ever: world without end. Amen. And he shall pour into the chalice, crosswise, so much as suffices saying: The fervency of faith, full of the Holy Spirit. Amen The Priest bowing his head, shall now say the following communion prayers: I believe, O Lord, and confess that Thou art in truth the Christ, the Son of the living God, come into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. And I believe that this is indeed Thine incorruptible body, and this Thy most precious blood. Wherefore I pray Thee have mercy upon me, and forgive me my trespasses, voluntary and involuntary, whether of word or deed, witting or unwitting; and vouchsafe that I may partake without condemnation of Thy most pure mysteries, for the remission of sins and unto life everlasting. Amen. Behold I draw near to divine Communion, O Creator, let me not be destroyed thereby; for Thou art fire to consume the unworthy: the rather do Thou cleanse me from all that defileth. Of Thy mystical supper, O Son of God, accept me this day as a partaker; for I will not speak of the mystery to Thine enemies, nor will I give Thee a kiss like Judas; but like the thief I will acknowledge Thee: remember me, O Lord, in Thy kingdom. The blood that maketh divine, O man, let it be your fear, let it be your dread: fire it is to consume the unworthy. The divine body doth make me a partaker of the divine nature, and likewise feedeth me. Maketh the spirit divine and wondrously nourisheth the mind. Thou hast ravished my heart with Thy love, O Christ; Thy divine care hath converted my soul. Yet do Thou consume my sins with celestial fire, and grant me to delight myself in Thee; that rejoicing I may exalt Thine incarnation and Thy second coming, O Thou who art good. How may I, unworthy as I am, enter into the brightness of Thy saints? For if I come boldly to the king’s palace my apparel doth convict me, in that I have no wedding garment, and I shall be bound and cast away by the angels. O Lord, cleanse my soul from all filthiness, and save me for Thou art loving-kind. O Master and Lover of Mankind, Lord Jesus Christ, my God, let not these holy things be to my judgement, in that I am unworthy: but rather unto the cleansing and hallowing of soul and body, unto an earnest of life eternal and the kingdom. For I hold it good to cleave to God, to hope in the Lord for my salvation. Of Thy mystical supper, O Son of God, accept me this day as a partaker; for I will not speak of the mystery to Thine enemies, nor will I give Thee a kiss like Judas; but like the thief I will acknowledge Thee: remember me, O Lord, in Thy kingdom. And he shall make three devout reverences saying: O God, be gracious unto me, and have mercy upon me. And the Priest taking and dividing the particle of the Holy Bread with the XC shall place a piece in the palm of his right hand saying: Behold, I draw near unto Christ our Immortal King and God. The precious and most holy Body of our Lord and God and Saviour Jesus Christ, is imparted unto me [Name] the unworthy Priest, for the remission of my sins and unto life everlasting. And in fear and with all precaution he shall partake of the particle in his hand. And having partaken he shall wipe his palm with the sponge making sure that no small particle is left thereon. Then the Priest taking with his left hand one end of the communion veil shall place it below his lips, and with his right hand holding the other end of the veil, he shall take up the chalice and partake of it three times saying: The precious and most holy Blood of our Lord and God and Saviour Jesus Christ is imparted unto me […..], the unworthy Priest, for the remission of my sins and unto life everlasting. Then wiping his lips and the rim of the chalice with the veil and kissing the chalice he shall say: Lo, this hath touched my lips; and mine iniquity is taken away, and my sin purged. Then the Priest shall divide the two remaining portions into small particles sufficient for all and shall place them into the chalice, saying: We have seen the resurrection of Christ, wherefore let us worship the holy Lord Jesus, who alone is without sin. We venerate Thy Cross, O Christ, and we praise and glorify Thy holy Resurrection. For Thou art our God: we know no other save Thee; we call upon Thy Name. O Come all ye faithful, let us venerate the holy resurrection of Christ: for behold, through the Cross joy is come to all the world. Evermore blessing the Lord, we sing the praises of His Resurrection: for He endured the Cross on our behalf, death by death hath He destroyed. Shine, shine, O new Jerusalem, for the glory of the Lord hath risen upon thee, celebrate now and be glad, O Zion. And do thou O pure, Mother of God, rejoice in the rising of thy child. O divine! O beloved! O sweetness of Thy voice! For that thou, O Christ, hast truly promised to be with us till the end of time. Wherefore we the faithful rejoice, holding these Thy words as an anchor of hope. O Christ, O Great and most sacred Passover! O Wisdom, and Word of God, and Power! Grant that we may more truly have communion with Thee in the day of Thy kingdom which knoweth no eventide. And putting in the chalice all the particles [that is the particles for the Mother of God, the Saints and the souls] he shall say Wash away, O Lord, the sins of them that have been remembered here, by Thy precious Blood, at the prayers of the holy Mother of God and all Thy saints. Amen. And taking up the chalice and the spoon he goes out by the Royal Doors and cries: With fear of God, with faith and love draw near. The servant of God [Name] partaketh of the precious and most holy Body and Blood of our Lord and God and Saviour Jesus Christ, for the remission of his/her sins and unto life everlasting. Throughout the communion the choir shall sing the following CHOIR Of Thy mystical supper, O Son of God, accept me this day as a partaker; for I will not speak of the mystery to Thine enemies, nor will I give Thee a kiss like Judas; but like the thief I will acknowledge Thee: remember me, O Lord, in Thy kingdom. And when all have communicated, the Priest shall bless the people with the chalice saying: Save, O God, Thy people and bless Thine inheritance.
CHOIR We have seen the true Light; we have received the heavenly Spirit; we have found the true faith. We worship the undivided Trinity: for the same hath saved us. The Priest returning the chalice to the Holy Altar shall then cense the Holy Gifts thrice saying thrice: PRIEST Be Thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let Thy glory be above all the earth. The Priest shall then take up the paten and chalice saying in secret Blessed is our God; And turning to face the people he shall say aloud: Always, now and for ever: world without end. And he shall set down the Holy Things on the Offertory Table.
PRIEST Be upright: having partaken of the divine, holy, undefiled, immortal, heavenly, life-giving and awesome mysteries of Christ, let us worthily give thanks unto the Lord. CHOIR: Kyrie eleison. And after each petition Succour, save, have mercy and preserve us, O God, by Thy grace.
Having prayed that this whole day be perfect, holy, peaceful and without sin, let us commend ourselves, and one another, and our whole life to Christ our God. CHOIR: To Thee, O Lord. We give Thee thanks, O Lord, and lover of mankind, who art the benefactor of our souls, for that Thou hast accounted us this day to be worthy of Thy heavenly and immortal mysteries. Make straight our ways, stablish us all in Thy fear, watch over our life, make sure our steps; by the prayers and supplications of the glorious Mother of God and ever-Virgin Mary, and of all Thy saints. For Thou art our sanctification, and to Thee we ascribe glory, to the Father, and to the Son, and unto the Holy Spirit, now and for ever: world without end. CHOIR: Amen. PRIEST O Lord, who dost bless them that bless Thee, and sanctifieth them that put their trust in Thee: save Thy people and bless Thine inheritance. Preserve the fullness of Thy Church, and sanctify them that love the beauty of Thy house. Do Thou, by Thy divine power glorify them, and forsake us not who put our trust in Thee. Grant peace to thy world, to Thy Churches, to Thy priests, to those in authority over us, to the army and to all the people. For every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from Thee, the Father of lights; and to Thee we ascribe glory, thanksgiving and worship, to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and for ever: world without end.
CHOIR: Amen. The Priest shall enter the Sanctuary and going to the offertory table shall say the following prayer silently. O Christ our God, who art the fulfilling of the law and the prophets, and hast fulfilled all things appointed of the Father; fill our hearts with joy and gladness, always, now and for ever: world without end. Amen. Let us pray unto the Lord. CHOIR: Kyrie eleison.
The Priest standing by the Holy Doors shall bless the people saying: May the blessing and mercy of the Lord come upon you, by His divine grace and loving-kindness, always, now and for ever: world without end. CHOIR: Amen. PRIEST: Glory be to Thee, O our God, glory be to Thee. CHOIR Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and for ever, world without end. Amen. PRIEST May [He who is risen from the dead] Christ our true God, by the prayers of His most holy Mother; by the power of the precious and life-giving Cross; by the protection of the heavenly bodiless hosts; through the supplications of the glorious Prophet and Forerunner, John the Baptist; of the holy and all-glorious Apostles; of the holy and all-glorious Apostle Barnabas, the founder and protector of the Holy Church of Cyprus; of our father among the saints, John Chrysostom, archbishop of Constantinople; of the holy, glorious and triumphant martyrs; of the holy and glorious Great Martyr George the Victory-bearer; of our holy God-bearing fathers; of the holy and righteous progenitors of God, Joachim and Anna; of [Name of saint] to whose memory we dedicate this day; and of all the saints, have mercy upon us, and save our souls: For He is good and loving-kind.
CHOIR May the Lord God make firm the holy and undefiled faith of pious Orthodox Christians in this holy Church and this village and in all Thy world, for ever and ever. Amen.
