With the threat of terrorism, it's increasingly risky to attend places of worship where we could become defenceless targets. Are we planning on making our Churches safer?
Answer to Question 568 We have the protection of God and his saints, what more protection can we ask for? With the treat of terrorism, even walking in the street is a risk
Same member Would it not be arrogant of me to expect my prayers for safety to be answered when other innocent Christians who have recently been blown up not had their prayers answered? What right do I have to expect better protection than my fellow Christian victims?
Reply I don't think it is arrogant to pray for our safe keeping and I'm sure you don't wish harm to anyone. As human being we should pray for the safety of all life whether they are Christian. Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Atheist or any other faith. Everyone should respect life, but sadly there are those who believe that they are doing God's will by destroying life. We cannot protect ourselves or our families from religious fanatics who are willing to blow themselves up as well and become martyrs. All we have is prayer.
