What is the best way to ask for forgiveness from god?
Answer to Question 562 I'm not sure how to answer your question. The only way to ask for forgiveness is to realize in your heart that you need God's forgiveness. We have the Sacrament of Confession and truly if you confess your sins they will be forgiven, but at the same time we need to confess with a sorrowful heart and repentance for what we have done. It is no good if we just say God forgive me, we must mean what we say and God hears the depths of our heart more than the words that come out of our mouth.
