Hello, Father, I am thinking of moving to Cyprus but my father is buried here, would it be bad of me to move him to Cyprus so I’m close to visit. Thank you.
Answer to Question 473 No, we often move the bones of our loved ones to other graves. If for example we buried a father in one place and then the mother died shortly after and because the time has not allowed for the body to decompose we cannot bury them together so we bury the mother in another grave and then when time allows we can place them together. In Greece and Cyprus there is no problem, but do the local authorities in England allow for graves to be dug up and translated? This you will have to ask in England
