Question 326

I had a list of names to be read by the priest today at my mums 4 years memorial, well I forgot the list at home so when the priest was reading the names I mentioned them past loved ones inside me, was this Ok?

Answer to Question 326

You could have rewritten the list at church by asking one of the church wardens for a paper and pen, but saying the names inside you is the next best thing. We often do this during the 40day Liturgies we have before Christmas. We have so many names to read that the priest by himself cannot say them all in the time allocated so we ask others to help with the names. We cannot have everyone voicing all the names so each person that helps out says the names silently.
