Good morning father, can you tell me if getting married a second time in the Greek Orthodox Church is allowed or not as I have heard different things from different people?
Answer to Question 14.
The Church allows people to have an ecclesiastical wedding up to three times. If both parties are being married for the second time then the service is different from the first and has a penitential character.
